Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Interface with suppliers to ensure flawless execution at the tactical level while supporting strategic-level corporate objectives
- Identify supply risks and mitigate them
- Interface with suppliers to request quotations and create purchase orders to ensure continuity of raw material supply and minimizing cost
- Participate and plan short- and long-range raw material planning
- Document information relating to receipt, storage, and distribution of materials
- Escalates key product and material issues to management
- Create analytical tools and models to identify, quantify and minimize risks in supply chain
- Ensure inventory accuracy and manage inventory controls
- Perform ERP functions relating to material tracking, BOM costing and production.
- Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, ISO/MDD requirements, the Quality System Regulations and other regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a supply chain role in the medical device industry
- Successfully performed purchasing in a manufacturing environment with supplier interactions
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate accomplishments, obstacles, issues and status clearly and concisely to project team members and management
- Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
- ERP system experience
- Proficient at Microsoft Office suite of software tools
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent relevant experience
This position is based in Milpitas, CA and is an onsite position. The salary range is $75K – $105K based on factors including experience, skills, etc.
