Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing
This role will provide the opportunity to take and shape Elixir Medical’s digital marketing strategy and execution to become best in class. As a key member of the marketing team, you will own the company’s global digital marketing strategy and serve as the company’s digital marketing SME. You will collaborate with Marketing and Commercial to lead the development of a multi-channel and multi-platform digital strategy and drive tactical execution. You will collaborate with and direct regional partners to ensure brand development and messaging align across global platforms. This role will define and report on KPIs to Executive team and regional partners. This role will benefit from a creative and inquisitive mind that drives innovation in reaching target audiences, making decisive data driven decisions and investments. This role will successfully build awareness for the company’s novel and significantly advanced technologies among treating physicians, patients and caregivers, referring physicians, and hospital administrators, ultimately filling and accelerating the customer and patient funnels.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Own the digital marketing strategy and lead tactical development and execution
- Serve as the company’s digital marketing subject matter expert (SME)
- Manage and liaise with agency partners for timely execution of on-message and on-brand communications that are delivered on budget
- Develop and execute programs and campaigns to raise awareness for and to educate on the innovation and benefits of the company’s novel technologies among treating physicians, patients and caregivers, referring physicians and hospital administrators
- Develop and measure digital conversion pathways
- Create and edit captivating and persuasive content for dissemination across multiple platforms
- Develop the brand and ensure consistent messaging across regions
- Solve challenges in reaching target audiences and having them find our digital properties leading to high levels of campaign conversions
- Coordinate with the Marketing team and regional partners to plan the digital go-to-market strategies for new product launches
- Define and regularly report on key performance indicators for Executive Leadership and business partners
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to ensure compliance in all messaging and execution
- Serve as a brand steward
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience in the medical device, pharma or biotech fields
- Success in communicating to healthcare professionals and patient audiences
- Deep experience with major social media platforms resulting in high engagement and conversion rates
- Developing and executing nurture campaigns
- Successful implementation of enduring search engine optimization and search engine marketing strategies
- Hands-on search ad execution and optimization
- Identifying and developing value-add digital assets and resources
- Coordinating digital symposia/meetings
- Message development
- Use of content management systems such as WordPress
- Practical use of digital marketing automation and analytics applications
- Ability to work productively in a rapid paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Global experience a plus
Education Requirements
- Bachelors preferred
